Regional Resource Pool Manager

Role Purpose:
 

The Regional Resource Pool Manager develops and builds relationships with team members and leadership in the region. Oversees the overall daily operations of the Regional Labor Resource Pools. Creates an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by providing an open and effective work environment that provides the resources and supports team members to perform their job responsibilities to the best of their abilities.

 
Responsibilities:
 

Mission, Values and Standards of Ethical Conduct: Demonstrates and imparts the mission, philosophy, values and vision of SSM Health in daily activities and into operational functions, processes and environment. Adheres to the SSM Health Standards of Ethical Conduct, displaying, as applicable, ethical behavior in the areas of business ethics, legal compliance, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, vendor relationships and the reporting of questionable activities.

 
Position Specific Accountabilities: 
 

Achieves success of departmental plans based on organizational expectations by assessing and assuring selection, coaching, development and alignment of the team members work. Collaborates with all disciplines and departments and works cooperatively to provide services in an efficient manner within department and between departments. Provides guidance, assistance and direction to improve clinical and organizational outcomes.   

 
Customer Relations: 
 

Promotes teamwork by maintaining positive and productive intra and inter departmental relationships and utilizes effective conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Promotes exceptional patient care by collaborating with nursing leadership and other members of the health care team to assure alignment of the distinctive patient experience and provision of quality and safe care. Holds self and staff accountable for achieving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

 
Strategic Planning: 
 

Achieves success of departmental plans based on organizational expectations by assessing and assuring selection, coaching, development and alignment of the team members work. Leads and encourages the adaptation of change within team and the organization.

 
Human Resources: 
 

Promotes exceptional financial performance by assuring team is operating within the approved fiscal human resource and operating plans; organizational expectations; and regulatory requirements. Practices due diligence and uses resources efficiently. Prepares and monitors departmental budgets and productivity. Overall responsible for recruitment, retention and termination of the Regional Labor Resource Pools.

Knowledge and Application of Policies and Regulatory/Accreditation Requirements: Knowledgeable and adheres to SSM Health policies and regulatory requirements.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • RN degree required
  • 5 years of leadership experience required.
  • Understand the Mission and Values of SSM Health and Franciscan Sisters of Mary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with employees at all levels across the ministries
 

Physical Requirements:

 

Employees in this position are, or can be, required to possess the following physical capabilities:

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 10 lbs.
  • Stooping, kneeling and/or crouching daily.
  • Standing or walking more than 4 hours a day.
  • Reaching, grasping, fingering, and/or feeling more than 2 hours a day.
Travel:
 

This position is Madison based and will be required to be physically present at all 3 ministries in WI (to include Baraboo and Janesville) to follow up on staff and evaluations.
