Role Purpose:
The System Manager, Digital Services, under direction of the System Director, Marketing, develops and manages the annual digital marketing and communications plan. This position leads a team that manages and supports the digital footprint of SSM Health in all parts of the system, optimizing content, SEO, infrastructure, and navigation to ensure a fluid experience for users and ultimately to drive conversion of visitors. This position works closely with IHT department for both developer support as well as to ensure compliance to regulatory and security requirements. This position also works closely with regional Marketing and Communications Directors and Managers to ensure marketing and PR campaigns reach their full potential in the online space.
Responsibilities:
    • Develops and manages the annual digital marketing and communications plan to support organizational growth and customer experience objectives
    • Contributes to the overall digital strategy of the organization, evolving SSM Health's digital footprint to best meet the needs of our customers
    • Leads a team that provides content, SEO, structure/navigation and web marketing support for regional marketing and PR initiatives.
    • Leads the ongoing e-research planning, persona segmentation and overall e-design effort for SSM Health
    • Monitors website effectiveness, developing meaningful KPIs that support organizational goals and continuously refining processes and approaches to ensure effective online strategies;
    • Creates an ROI framework to evaluate the effectiveness of various e-marketing campaigns and update marketing leadership of the results;
    • Coaches and trains staff in all external e-marketing and communications
    • Bears responsibility for the ongoing development, coaching and annual performance assessment for professionals within the digital area
    • Coordinates e-marketing and communications strategies to identify key consumer insights (e.g. focus groups) and promote SSM Health services
    • Supports the patient experience through integrated, interactive web design
    • Contributes to budget planning and manages the day-to-day annual digital budget
    • Sets priorities and manages work flows to ensure on-time project delivery
    • Works as needed providing direction to external resources including vendors and freelance developers/designers
    • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and Internet applications to ensure that SSM Health remains on the leading edge of emerging technologies
    • Generates innovative solutions and ideas that support the goals of the marketing and communications department
    • Manages the relationship between IHT and Marketing and Communication to ensure seamless implementation of digital marketing strategies.
    Qualifications
    Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Six to eight years in digital technologies, marketing, communications or related field experience
    • Two or more years of management experience
