Hours: 7 pm - 7:30 am

Description

Role Purpose:

The Certified Nurse Assistant at SSM Health St. Mary's Good Samaritan – Mt. Vernon works under the supervision of the unit director, registered nurses, LPN's and the doctor.

The ideal candidate will have effective oral and written communication skills, exceptional customer service skills and demonstrate good decision making and problem solving skills

Responsibilities:

    • Provides patient care within scope
    • Works closely with the patients, significant others and ancillary staff
    • Provides administrative support by performing a variety of clerical duties to support unit, including receptionist and secretarial functions
    Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
    • HS Diploma or GED
    • CNA Certification
    • CPR certification
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 1 year of experience
