Advanced Practitioner - Pain Management at Dean/St. Mary's Outpatient Center, Madison, WI

The Opportunity


SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 450 physician multi-specialty group is actively searching for a full time (1.0 FTE) advanced practitioner (PA or NP) to join our Pain Management Department at the Dean St. Mary's Outpatient Center. Responsibilities include a high degree of expertise and decision making skills in the assessment, diagnosis and management of individuals with chronic pain; advanced knowledge in the clinical and psychosocial aspects of chronic pain; familiarity with controlled substances, psychiatric medications, anticonvulsant medications, doses and side effects; and be well versed in pain interventions. This position involves working in the clinic setting as well as assisting in the operating room, including incision closure.

The Hospital


St. Mary's Hospital has been serving South Central Wisconsin since 1912. The hospital is a tertiary care facility with 350 beds that is used by the Dean physicians. The hospital and the Dean Clinic work in a complementary manner on many joint ventures to provide excellence in patient care.
