Description

Role Purpose:

The primary function of the Clinical Team Leader is to supervise, monitor, coordinate, control and evaluate the day-to-day clinical operations and activities of the practice/site.

Responsibilities:

    • Performs all duties according to entity policies and procedures
    • Supervises, directs, and controls the front office function immediate subordinates including employment, job assignment, counseling, development, appraisal, and compensation review with input as necessary from direct supervisor and HR
    • Orients, trains, and supervises clinical personnel
    • Assists in implementation and management of both personnel and general operating policies of Care Management Company
    • Assists with performance review of front office staff
    • Handles complaints from patients regarding clinical related services in a courteous and timely manner
    • Responsible for oversight of clinical related patient and vendor correspondence
    • Serves as interface for patient with doctor, hospital, ancillary departments and business departments
    • Performs and supervises various clinical functions according to practice standards
    • Assists with analysis of month-end revenue/production and budget reports
    • Responsible for submitting and authorizing time-sheets according to established schedule and procedures
    • Responsible for following established purchasing guidelines and submission of properly authorized invoices to the Accounts Payable department on a timely basis
    • Responsible for inventory control function following established purchasing guidelines for supply items.
    • Reviews and approves invoices and verifies receipt of purchased items
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Associates Degree or Diploma School Program in Business or Health Related Field.
    • RN Licensure
    • Health insurance claims and physician office management. One to three years of technical experience and 1 to 3 years of supervision.
    • Basic medical office procedures and medical terminology
